South Africa: Kruger National Park
Kruger National Park is the jewel of South African game reserves and is one of the largest reserves on the continent. Much of the park is a dry savanna with trees and few waterholes here and there, making wildlife watching easy and awesome. All Big Five can be found here and numbers of some of the other animal species are truly staggering – 30k buffalo, 18k zebra, 5k girrafes, 12k elephants, 10k white rhinos and 150k impala.
