Lesotho: Lesotho & South Africa Food Recap

It was a very short trip to Lesotho and even shorter to South Africa – so it wasn’t enough to sample the wide range of cuisine on offer. Nevertheless, I tried the Lesotho specialty – mountain trout – as well as local beer Maluti, chicken gizzards, and pork knuckle. In South Africa, it was the highly prized oxtail (oxtail retails at about 4 times the normal beef), an ostrich burger, and loads and loads of air dry game meet and sausages – biltong and droewors.
