Spain/Andalusia: Seville – Exploring the Old Town
There’s so much to explore in the historic old center of Seville – super narrow pedestrian streets, old building with balconies, little bodegas and tapas bars everywhere, dozen of churches. Real Alcazar Palace and the Museo del Indio are both UNESCO World heritage sites. Bario de Santa Cruz surround the cathedral and Alcazar and is the most spectacular to just roam around in the labyrinth of old-world medieval narrow streets. Not to be missed is the famous Real Maestranza de Caballería de Sevilla (Royal Bullring of Seville) from 1761 and the nearby Torre del Oro dating to 1220 and originally part of the defensive walls surrounding the entire city.
