St Lucia: Marigot Bay
Marigot Bay is a picturesque bay located on the western coast of Saint Lucia. It’s famous for its natural beauty, calm waters, and lush tropical surroundings. The bay is a popular destination for yachting and sailing enthusiasts. The bay is part of the larger St Lucia National Marine Reserve. A mangrove forest surround the bay, while the upper elevations are green with dense rainforest. There are several overlooks on the top and waterfront restaurants at the bottom. The bay was a site of many battles between the British and the French. Also, several movies were filmed here.
