Swaziland: Hlane National Park
Hlane Royal National Park is the main park in the small nation of Swaziland. Interestingly it is a private land that belonged to the king as the royal hunting ground and is now held in a trust for the nation by King Mswati III. The park is teaming with animals, in fact to the point of serious overgrazing by roaming elephants – hardly any trees are left standing. There are plenty of hippos in waterholes, and giraffes, zebra, and many other creatures roaming around.
