Tanzania: Ngorongoro Crater – Rim Views & Descent

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a massive inactive crater, the world’s largest, of an ancient volcano that blew its top off millions of  years ago. The caldera is fully intact with the circular wall surrounding, rising thousands of feet above the crater floor. Many overlooks from the rim offer a panorama of Ngorongoro.
