Tanzania: Tarangiere NP – Tarangire River Overlook

One of the most spectacular overlooks in the Tarangire National Park is located in the heart of the reserve on a high cliffs above a bend in the Tarangire River. During the dry season, you can sit here and watch a National Geographic show unfold in front of you as animals of all shapes and sizes come to the water – there are large herds of zebra and wildebeest, elephants come in hundred, giraffes stop by, and even big cats come in the evening when the heat subsides.
