Thailand: Ayutthaya – Wat Ratchaburana & Wat Chai Wattanaram
And the last two wats (temples) in Ayutthaya Historical Park – Wat Ratchaburana & Wat Chai Wattanaram. The first one has the best preserved ornate prang (tower) in the middle that you can climb to the top and the descend deep into its bowels into the crypt where walls still have the original ancient frescos. The second is one of the most famous temples in Ayutthaya, constructed in 1630. It stands on a rectangular platform with four corner prongs and one central big prong, with many sculptures lining up against the walls.
