Trinidad: Grande Riviere Beach – Cannonball Trees
Exploring the rain forest around the Grande Riviere Beach, we stumbled on an absolutely bizarre tree – Cannomball Tree aka Couroupita guianensis. It’s fruits are massive wooden spheres aptly named cannonballs for close resemblance. The fruits are not edible, but have a lot of traditional medicinal usages.
