UAE/Abu Dhabi: Al Ain – Camel Souq
And the final post from the Persan Gulf… Al Ain has one of the largest camel markets in the world – a noisy, dusty, crazy, bizarre sight. Camels being bought and sold here, mostly for racing (some for meat), and you can see traders bargain, inspect the merchandise, load them in trucks with cranes. There are hundreds and hundreds of camels around this sprawling marketplace. A strange but most definitely unique and one of a kind experience.
