UAE doesn’t really have deep cultural roots when it comes to food. Dubai is megapolis of different cuisines and cultures. When it comes to upscale food – there is pretty much anything you want – from French and Italian to traditional Arab to Thai and Japanese. Simpler places serve mostly rice-based Afghani and Pakistani and Indian dishes that thousands of temp works are used to. I mostly focused on pan-Arabic cuisine of Lebanese and Syrian origins – masterfully prepares and authentically presented and served.
