Uruguay: Cristo Obrero Church
This little church in Uruguay is one of the country’s three UNESCO World Heritage sites. Frankly, it’s nothing special and there are much worthier sites in the country, but nevertheless it’s architecturally interesting. It was designed and built by an engineer Eladio Dieste in 1958, highlighting simple geometric shapes and waveforms, using only red brick. It is known as Church of Atlantida.
