USA/FL: Tallahassee

Tallahassee is the state capital of Florida, although it’s only the seventh largest city in the state. The centerpiece of Tallahassee is the State Capitol Complex: the historic Old Capitol building (from 1845) that is now a museum and the super ugly and bulky New Capitol building (from 1970s), just a square 22-story tower. All around the Capitol complex are other government buildings, fountains, statues – and no people (most likely because of heat and not COVId). Tallahassee is also home to two large universities.
