USA/ID: Harriman State Park

Harriman State Park is where a ranch owned by Union Pacific Railroads used to exist in the early 1900s. The ranch was a retreat for the railroad’s shareholders – sprawling meadows, hunting grounds, great fishing. It’s still known today as one of the best fly-fishing places in the USA. This is also where trumpeter swans gather in winter – two thirds of all trumpeter swans in America gather here in winter months on various waterways and lakes.
