USA/KY: Dueling Grounds Bourbon Distillery
For many, Kentucky is synonymous with Bourbon. Jim Beam, Maker’s Mark, Bulleit Bourbon – all come from here. But there are also dozens of smaller distilleries on the so-called Bourbon Trail, like the Dueling Grounds Bourbon Distillery. Everything is simple here – the building, the tour, the tasting – but you get a much more personal experience, seeing how all the ingredients and mixed/produced and basically being part of this small-batch productions. Then comes the tasting of their premier product – Linkumpinch Small Batch Straight Bourbon – 100 proof (50% alcohol) and 2 years aged). They also make several other product – like Clear (unaged whiskey), American Dry Gene, Kentucky Apple Pe Brandy, and several flavored whiskeys. Smooth and delicious!
