USA/ME: Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse
And yet another Maine lighthouse – Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse. It is also know as Two Light Lighthouse and is located at the southwestern entrance to Casco Bay on Cape Elizabeth. The lighthouse originally had two operating lights, of which only the Eastern tower remains operational at this point. It was originally built in 1828 as two stone towers 300 yards (270 m) apart, but the use of multiple lights was discontinued in 1924.
