One of the side trips from the. Blue Ridge Parkway takes you to Linville Falls – a moderate hike to a moderately-sized waterfalls – only 45-foot (14 m) drop, but with good volume. The hike goes through dense forest and this time of the year it’s full of various mushrooms.
