From New Jersey to Delaware to Maryland to Virginia to Carolinas – mid-Atlantic coast of the United Stares offers fantastic seafood – fresh raw local oysters and clams and blackened daily catch in Jersey Shore in New Jersey, Maryland blue crabs boiled in the Old Bay Seasoning (classic Maryland!), or insane seafood bisque on Delaware shore, or local Atlantic shrimp/steamers/oysters in Virginia Beach, or fresh oysters in Charleston in South Carolina – a total overload of shellfish (especially given the fact that almost everywhere we ended up ordering a second and/or third dozen of oysters at the end).
