USA/OK: Gloss Mountain State Park

Oklahoma is mostly flat and uninspiring except when you come to the Gloss Mountain State Park – a unique geological feature by the fact the the entire mountain (or more like a hill) is made out of rare Selenite Gypsum, which has a glossy and shiny appearance – hence the park’s name. Sometimes the park is called “glass mountain”. You can climb to the top of the mountain via a series of ladders and get a panoramic view from the top – green and orange of the eroded cliffs around the Gloss Mountain itself.
