USA/OR: Bandon – Oysters & Crabs at Tony’s Crab Shack

And finally we got to one of the best seafood little crab shacks on the entire Oregon coast – Tony’s Crab Shack on Bandon. The place can’t be simpler – just a kitchen and a couple tables. Every item on an equally simple menu comes from the bay behind the shack – dungeness crabs, oysters, shrimp. The place doesn’t do anything deep fried, only raw or baked or grilled (in fact you can rent a crab trap and catch your own off the dock) We had 2 dozen of raw oysters – quick big and very juicy, two spectacular Dungeness crabs and a shrimp cocktail, and half a dozen baked oysters. But that wasn’t enough! Baked oysters were so insanely good that we went for a dozen more. And then a dozen more!
