USA/OR: Oregon Dunes NRA
Oregon Dunes are the largest coastal sand dunes in USA and one of the largest coastal sand dune expanse in the whole world – with some dunes reaching up 500 above the see level. There are many areas for ATV dune buggy riding (all booked up) and some areas for hiking. We hiked across the entire dune field on the Dunes Trail to the Pacific Ocean – not a particularly easy going hike in moving sand. Coastal fog hang low at the beach and piercing wind chilled you down to the bone.
