USA/CA: Death Valley NP – Ubehebe Crater

Ubehebe Crater is a large volcanic crater over 1km/0.6mi wide and 777 ft/237 m deep. The crater is about 2000 years old. It’s a spectacular site in the heart of Death Valley with panoramic views around it. You can hike all around the rim for different perspectives, but it’s more interesting to descend down to the bottom.
