USA/UT: Canyonlands NP – Needles District

The Needles represent the southeaster part of the enormous Canyonlands National Park and is one of the most spectacular. Here, thousands of sandstone spires and towers stand like massive needles, presenting a surreal martian-like landscape. The spires take on different color from deep red to orange to yellow to white, as well as various shapes and include arches, boulders, and slot canyons. Hiking here is an absolute adventure in desert exploration.
