Venezuela: Mt Roraima – Hiking on Top

The flat top of Mount Roraima is 31 square km plateau surrounded by absolutely sheer cliffs on all sides. These are some of the oldest geological formations on Earth, over 2 billion years old! The landscape is starkly dark and beautiful the black sandstone, weird rock formations, pools and streams from daily rains, and unique endemic flora and fauna. Hiking though all this makes you feel like you landed on another planet.
