Vietnam: Phong Nha NP – Butterfly Paradise on Route to Hang En Cave
I haven’t seen so many butterflies since the monarch migration in Mexico’s mountains years ago. Crossing rivers 30 times on the hike to Hang En Cave, every river bend was just plastered with butterflies, probably dozens of different species, some truly spectacular. And there is also a giant moth, a grasshopper, and two praying mantis in here for good company.
