Zambia: Kafue NP – Birds

Bird life is prolific in Kafue National Park, both the game drives and especially cruising the river yields a lot of species – white-backed vultures devouring somebody’s kill, two species of rollers (lilac-breasted and European), noisy southern masked weavers making nests that look like Christmas tree decorations, African hoopoes, black-bellied bustards, open-billed storks, glossy ibises, African darters, white-fronted beeeaters, and many many others.
