Cameroon: Kribi Beach
Moving down to the southern Cameroon and the beaches around Kribi – the Cameroon’s version of French Riviera where all the tourism is concentrated. Kribi is the main town here and boasts a large and very picturesque yellow-sand beach with some rocks scattered along. No tourists and hardly any locals, except for fishing boats just offshore. Oil platforms tower in distance and light up the sky with fire at night. Several good restaurants along the beach where you can sip a local Cameroonian beer in the breeze and savor freshly caught barracuda. Not bad!
