USA/Alaska: Denali Road in Denali National Park
The cars are not allowed on the Denali Road, so your only option is to travel almost the entire day by bus to get to the campground closest to the Denali Mountain. There are plenty of scenic stops and overlooks along the way… unless you run into an incredible interaction between a mother grizzly with two cubs approaching the wolf den. We stopped for nearly three hours watching how the wolves tried to drive the bears away from the den while the mother bear was trying to defend the little cubs from an attack.
