Argentina: Santa Fe de La Veracruz

Santa Fe is another city along the Parana River and a capital of the province with the same name. It has a lot of colonial architecture and well-preserved historic buildings. Most of the attraction are concentrated around Plaza 25 de Mayo (seems like every town in Argentina has the same-named square). Many of the buildings facing the square date to the 17th century, like Convento de San Francisco from 1680, Metropolitan Cathedral from 1651, Casa de Gobierno, Casa de Justicia, and more. The city also has an impressive suspension bridge over the Parana River, a true engineering marvel.
