China/Hainan: Sanya to Haikou Speed Train
Did you know that nearly 80% of world’s speed bullet trains is in China? (The rest is in Japan and Europe, America has zero). The ultra modern speed train line connect the southernmost Sanya to northernmost Haikou, going along the coast and through tropical scenery of distant hills and mountains, coconut palm trees, rice fields, and a lot of green landscapes, rushing at nearly constant 250km/hr – a 1.5 hour journey and you’ve crossed the entire Hainan island bottom to top!
