Cyprus: Kolossi Castle

Kolossi is a crusader castle in the south of Cyprus, built in 1210 by the Knights of the Order of Saint John aka Knights Hospitalier. KNights Templar took over the castle in 1306, but 8 years later it went back to the original owner, and was fully rebuilt in 1454. The ancient square tower looks spectacular, well-restored, and you can climb to the rooftop for some panoramic views.
