Czech Republic: Ostrava – 90s Oldies Music Festival
Another 90s eurodance festival awaited in Ostrava in Czech Republic! Although a poor choice of name – 90s Oldies – the lineup featured some of the 90s biggest eurodance acts that defined the style – E-Rotic, Maxx, Magic Affair, Masterboy, Real McCoy, Sin With Sebastian. It was INSANE on every possible level!!! First, Maxx delivered and one-two punch with “Get-a-way” and “No More”. Then Sin With Sebastian wound up the crowd with “Shut Up And Sleep With Me”. E-Rotic drove everyone into an absolute frenzy with their entire family of sex characters – “Max Don’t Have Sex With Your Ex”, “Fred Come To Bed”, and “Fritz Love My Tits”. Pharao brought back to life “I Show You Secrets” and “World Of Magic” as well as a new single. Real McCoy blasted onto the stage with “Runaway” and “Another Night”, including the early club classic “It’s On You” with O-Jay laying down thick rhymes. And finally, Masterboy delivered a total and complete knockout with some of their biggest hits like “Generation of Love”, “Feel The Heat of the Night”, “Love Message” and the new hit “Are You Ready (We Love the 90s)”. Eurodance revival 2k18 – you bet ya! I had an absolute blast and if somebody had told me there would be a party like this back in the 90s with superstars live, I would think it’s a fantasy. But then again, same goes for the outlandish dream of traveling to every country in the world. “Dreams, dreams, different dreams – you can have it all, that’s what it means” (Masterboy “Different Dreams”).
