Dominica: Trafalgar Falls

These twin falls are the most spectacular and most visited waterfalls in Dominica, located in Morne Trois Pitons National Park. It consists of two waterfalls: the taller one known as “Father” and the shorter one known as “Mother.” Father Falls, plunges approximately 125 ft (38 m) down a steep rock face. Mother Falls, the shorter of the two, stands at around 75 ft (23 m) tall. The two are divided by a sheer rock cliff. A hiking trail through a lush rainforest leads to the falls with a lot of natural attractions along the way – like crawling land crabs and hummingbird feeding on nectar on the blowing tropical wildflowers, lizard sunbathing on giant leaves, and more.
