France: Cote d’Emeraude

Cote d’Emeraude (Emerald Coast) is a coastal strip in the north of Brittany with long sandy beaches, multiple picturesque lighthouses, cliffs and promontories, several castles, and some more sandy beaches. It’s a popular resort destination for French, but it ain’t Carribean or Mediterainean – the area’s natural scenic beauty of heather covered hills is way more attractive than the beach destinations.
