Iceland: Grotagja & Dimmuborgir

Grotagja & Dimmuborgir are two volcanic areas featuring lava formations near the Lake Myvatn. The former has several crevasses and cracks that you can climb down into and explore, while the latter has peculiar arches and towers and hoodoos begging for exploration as well.
