India: Jaisalmer – Gadisar Lake
A man-made water reservoir, the Gadisar Lake was once the main source of water for the city of Jaisalmer. It was conucted by the first ruler of Jaisalmer – Raja Rawal Jaisal. All around the lake are sandstone temples and ghats.
