Italy: Rome – Sant Eustachio Il Caffe

Italians are nuts about coffee and the absolute best and most famous little coffee shop in Rome is Sant Eustachio Il Caffe. The little cafe dates back to 1938 and is located in an old wood-fired roasting plant. The coffee shop roasts their own beans and uses the water that comes from an ancient Roman aqueduct. There are coffee types here that you won’t find anywhere else – Il Gran Caffè, Caffè d’Elite, and Il Gran Cappuccino. It’s busy and hectic inside and a couple of the tables that stand outside are also swamped but it’s definitely an experience and a must-do!
