Italy: Rome – Trastevere at Night
And at night Trastevere was absolutely awesome! All narrow alleyways got lit up with dim lighting, the service opened at the cathedral, and throngs of diners came out for al-fresco dining on truly authentic Italian cuisine and not the trash they serve you around the Coliseum. And I got into Tonnarello, supposedly one of the top Trastevere restaurants, for some incredible classic homemade carbonara.
