Mexico/Yucatan: Cenote Il Kil

Yucatan is full of cenotes – sinkholes in the ground that lead to subterranean passageways and cave complexes. Two of the most famous cenotes are  Il Kil and Dzintup. Both are deep below the ground level, you can descend down to the water level, and both are swimable. Stunning treasures of nature.
