Myanmar: Hsinphyumae Pagoda
Not to be outdone by his father trying to build world’s biggest pagoda and world’s biggest bell, King Bodawpaya’s grandson and successor Bagyidaw built a stunning snow-white pagoda and dedicated it to his Princess Hsinbyume (Lady of the White Elephant). The stunning multi-story pagoda is blinding-white in the midday son with great views of the river and surrounding plains from the top.
