New Zealand: Coromandel – Cathedral Cove
Cathedral Cove aka Te Whanganui-A-Hei is a spectacular beach and a marine preserve on the Coromandel Peninsula in northern New Zealand. There are a lot of awesome formations here – including a large arch linking two beaches, and several stunning seastacks just at the water’s edge or slightly offshore. Several hiking trails lead higher up for panoramic views of the ocean.
