Outer Hebrides: Tiumpan Head Lighthouse

First stop on Outer Hebrides – the spectacular Tiumpan Head Lighthouse, located on a desolate Eye peninsula in the middle of nowhere at the tip of the island of Lewis with stunning panorama of the sea and green hills and cliffs. The lighthouse was built in 1900. The hills are literally covered with small northern orchids – common spotted orchid aka Dactylorhiza fuchsii to be exact.
