Russia: Moscow – Alexandrovsky Garden

Alexandrovsky Garden is a large public space outside the Kremlin walls in the heart of Moscow, and was the first urban park to be created in the city in 1819. It has three levels – Upper, Middle, and Lower – with the zero kilometer fountain in the middle. Another big attraction here is the Eternal Flame near the Kremlin Wall, replete with guards and changing of the guards military ceremony. The place commemorates the enormous losses of the Soviet Union in WWII.
