Singapore: Flower Dome at the Garden by the Bay

Garden by the Bay is a massive green projected on the reclaimed land meant to turn Singapore into “city in the garden”. The are two glass conservatories in the garden, the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest. The Flower Dome is a massive glass enclosure (in fact the largest columnless glass dome in the world) that cools the air to creating Mediterranean dry climate featuring plants from semi-arid tropical regions of the world. Cactuses and succulent large and small from South America and Africa as well as Australian flora and Mediterranean gardens are all here! But there was also a special exhibition replicating the tulip fields of Holland.
