South Georgia: Jason’s Harbor – Beach
Another spectacular beach landing in South Georgia – at Jason’s Harbor. It is a large wide crescent beach with tussocks grasses in the background. Plenty of wildlife spotting within literally a hands reach – lots of king penguins on the beach and in the water, several gentoo penguins walking around the beach. But the real show stopper were the playful fur seal and pups – literally everywhere and coming up to you with no fear. And further in tussocks – giant logs of elephant seals
