The otherworldly landscape of the Ngorongoro Crater is made even more spectacular with the thousands of zebra grazing peacefully all around. And here’s a collection of fun facts about zebras – their actual skin is black, while the hair is white and black, and the patterns are unique to each animal just like human fingerprints. Zebras form hierarchies led my a male stallion and his harem following him. Zebra can see in color, unlike most of the other hoofed animals. Zebras can run at 65 kmh or 40 mph, and will go in elaborate zigzags when chased by predators. Zebras sleep while standing up. Zebras cannot be domesticated.
