Tanzania: Serenegeti NP – Elephants in Northern Serengeti
Northern Serengeti is very different from the southern flat grasslands – there are a lot of hills covered with acacia woodlands. Hence, there are large elephant herds here, numbering in multiple hundreds. This time of the year, everything is green and fresh and elephants roam around, eating grass and trees and taking mud baths.
