Tunisia: Sidi Bou Said
Sidi Bou Said is a town on the coast of the Mediterranean about 30km from the capital Tunis. It clings to cliffs rising steeply from the sea. But what really makes this town spectacular is the white and blue colors that permeate everything – buildings, roofs, doors, windows. Roaming the steep cobblestone streets is an amazing experience, and climbing to the rooftop terraces for views both of the town and out to the sea and mountains is almost surreal.
