Turkey: Afyonkarahisar – Street Markets
We happened to stumble on the street market day in Afyonkarahisar – people selling and buying fresh fruits and vegetable and fish, encircling the rock tower with the castle on top. Afyonkarahisar is actually one of the top agriculture-producing provinces in Turkey (as well as legal opium – in this, it’s number one in the world).
