Uruguay: Interior Uruguay Landscapes

In its interior, Uruguay looks like Midwest of the USA – absolutely flat and endless fields of grass or corn and cow pastures – you borderline have to pinch yourself to make sure you are not in Nebraska or Iowa. What’s more, the flat landscapes is conducive to tornadoes and violent storms and central Uruguay is second to Oklahoma only in the number and incidence of tornadoes running through it. As we crossed the country’s interior – it was one rainstorm after another with rainbows galore.
